RHE-MAA (The Unfolding)

Beloved,

Trust you followed through the Scenes. If you haven’t, kindly click on the link πŸ‘†πŸ‘† to read it. Also, I will like to appreciate all who read, shared and commented. Thanks for the engagement. You know I love you right?πŸ˜‰πŸ€—πŸ€©

Alrighhhht! Let’s keep the ink flowingπŸ’ƒ

The two scenarios in the previous post were inspired by 2 Timothy 3:7 which reads, “Ever learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth”. I had come by the scripture aforetime but never really paid much attention to its detail until recently.  It pointed me to this generation of new age believers. We know so much but understand a little. I pondered on its possibility until I came to the realization that either of these πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡ were deficient.

-The Message (Source)

Jesus acknowledged the word as the Truth (John 17:17). This means that anything that is different from the word of God is not and can never be truth.  Paul cautioned the brethren that they could become enslaved through philosophy and empty deception, according to the elementary principles of the world, rather than after Christ (Colossians 2:8; 1 Corinthians 1:21,27).  Therefore, if someone is learning something different from the Word of God (encyclopedia, wiki or any other advance literature in the world), he can continue to learn as much as he wants, acquire as much degree as he wants; but will never come to know the truth.

-The person passing the message (the Preacher)

Jesus warned, “beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves”.  I hope you noticed that a part of the scripture had been altered in Pastor Lay’s ministration (Elijah not calling down a literal fire) though he polished it well by referencing other passages. Same way, that is how false teachings creep in. It might look and sound like truth but it had been altered. In the euphoria of the moment, we only scream “rhe-maa”, “Γ² deep”, “worded”, “loud it” without even checking up the scriptures again and again and asking the Holy Spirit to lead us to the right interpretation.  We must note that, not all the deep things said or heard from a pastor/man of God are scriptural. We, therefore, need the Holy Spirit to give us a good understanding to discern and differentiate the principle of men from the teachings of Christ.

-The attitude of the person receiving the message

Many approach the word of God with the wrong intentions and attitude. Rather than humbly seeking to learn how to please the Lord, they seek to acquire knowledge to boost their arrogance. Some would even distort the scriptures in order to justify themselves in whatever current state they might be (just like Bro. Teni) 2 Peter 3:16.

Also, there are those who deceive themselves by hearing the word only. They increase their head knowledge, but will never do or obey what has been illuminated to them. They are connected to the right source, right church, right content but still, not empowered or transformed. They become greatly informed but highly deformed. God has called us to be doers of the word, and not merely hearers. ACT OUT WHAT YOU HAVE HEARD.

For us to please God, we must continue to learn the truth and obey it but this can only be possible if we go to the right source (the Scriptures), listen to the those who accurately teach the entire truth of God’s word; pointing men to Christ , and not themselves. Also,  having a right attitude (a humble desire to conform our lives to the will of God).

Trust you had an amazing read. Would love to know your thoughts tooπŸ€— so, let's have a chat in the comment section.

(PS: My apologies for not releasing this on the proposed dateπŸ™)

Plentiful πŸ’•❤️πŸ’–
