MY WORLD NEEDS YOU

Hello friends,

I was on my bed one evening, few weeks back when my roommate started playing a song by Kirk Franklin titled my world needs you right now . I had never heard the song before but at that moment I knew there was more God wanted me to learn from the song.I requested for the song from her and downloaded the lyrics.
As I was reading through the lyrics, I got an inspiration which I am going to share with you now. Part of the lines of the song says;

     Show me your face
     Fill up this space
     My world needs you right now
     I can't escape
     Being afraid
     Fill me with you right now
     My world needs you right now


       Fix what I see
       And God please fix me
       My world needs you right now
       Let us see you right now
       Every heart in the world
       Needs you Lord to rescue
       Storms have come and torn our
       Hearts in two
       We need you


Your world cannot be completely fixed without Jesus Christ. There is a vacuum in everyone's life which only Jesus can fill up.The more humans try to fill it up themselves, the more the frustration and mischief they get, that is why we hear people commiting suicide now and then, even some people run to lesser gods thinking that would save them but unfortunately, they just jumped out of the frying pan into the Real Fire. It is only Jesus Christ that can Save and Secure and that is why you need to call out to Him right now.  


My World needs you means the entirety of my life needs you. Acts 17:28a says ''for in Him we live and move and have our being''. This means that we have to live in Him for us to have our being, that is, our real identity is in Him. This is not about practicing religion but it is about your personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Also in Colossians 1:17, it says ''and he is before all things and by him all things consist''. I would illustrate this by saying that for a bag to stand erect and upright, it has to be filled up with something.An empty bag cannot be erect, it would always fall to the floor so also as humans, we are empty and lifeless without Christ in us. This means that for your life to be truly upright and for it to make real sense, you have to be filled up with Jesus Christ.
Once you've grasped this mystery that Jesus Christ need to have His rightful place in you, then every affairs of your life will be ordered and guided by Him.

Hello Fam, Eku one thousand and one years😉...I've missed this space alot. Hmm! God help me in this consistency journey 🥺 I had written this piece since the end of November, 2021...it just found it way out of my diary today.
